What is Fairtrade?
Today’s global fashion industry employs over 60 million people - most of who work in an unsafe factory and environmental conditions while receiving extremely poor wages. The fashion industry is the world's second-largest polluter, just behind the oil industry. Fairtrade is the solution that makes a big difference for the people who grow and make the clothing we love. Fairtrade organizations help set standards to alleviate poverty and exploitation of farmers and workers by providing better wages and reforming work conditions.
